Refund Policy
At CIC : Student Visa Expert, we are committed to providing transparent, ethical, and professional guidance to students pursuing international education opportunities. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions governing refunds for services offered by CIC.
By engaging our services and making any payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Refund Policy.
1. Consultation & Registration Fees
Any consultation fee, registration fee, profile assessment fee, or counselling fee paid to CIC is strictly non-refundable.
These charges cover professional counselling, profile evaluation, administrative processing, and the allocation of resources dedicated to your case from the beginning of the service process.
2. Service Fees
Refund requests may only be considered under the following circumstances:
- Duplicate payment made due to a technical or payment processing error.
- Payment received for a service that was not initiated by CIC.
- Exceptional circumstances approved by CIC management after internal review.
3. Third-Party Payments
These may include:
- University or college application fees
- Tuition deposits
- Credential evaluation fees
- Language test fees
- Visa application fees
- Embassy or Consulate fees
- VFS or biometric charges
- Courier charges
- Health insurance fees
- Any other third-party charges
4. Visa Decisions & Refusals
In the event of a visa refusal:
- Consultancy fees and service charges paid to CIC shall not be refundable if services have been delivered as agreed.
- Refunds will not be provided solely because an application is refused by an embassy, immigration authority, university, or institution.
- Any third-party payments already made remain subject to the policies of the respective organizations.
5. Student Withdrawal or Change of Plans
If a student voluntarily withdraws, discontinues, postpones, or abandons the application process after services have commenced, no refund shall be provided for work already completed.
This includes situations where the student:
- Decides not to study abroad
- Chooses another consultant
- Changes destination country or institution
- Fails to provide required documents
- Stops responding during the process
- Withdraws after admission or application activities have begun
6. Refund Request Procedure
To request a refund, the applicant must submit a written request containing:
- Full name
- Contact details
- Payment receipt or transaction reference
- Reason for refund request
- Supporting documentation (if applicable)
All refund requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Submission of a refund request does not guarantee approval.
7. Approved Refund Processing
If a refund is approved, the amount will be processed through the original payment method or bank transfer, wherever applicable.
Approved refunds are generally processed within 15 working days from the date of approval.
Banking timelines may vary depending on the payment provider or financial institution.
